Well after a great week of pentesting instruction in SANS 560 with instructor Eric Conrad, we got to compete in the class CTF. After several hours of intense exploiting, pivoting, and extracting data, our team “heard the call” of victory! For those going into the class, make sure you pay close attention in the class and have roles assigned for team members to make the most of your time. Also a big shout out to opposing teams who left info in the root terminal history and good stuff in /tmp!! Oh and here’s the prize of victory!
